The project Ocean-CDR aims to become an international hub for research on ocean-based Carbon Dioxide Removal strategies
Ocean-CDR combines state-of-the-art research on enhanced CO2 removal in the ocean with technical development, implementation and operation of relevant research infrastructure, training of the next generation of early stage researchers in this new emerging field of science, and communicating with stakeholders and the general public on the potential risks and side effects as well as possible co-benefits of ocean-based CDR.
